 Performance

The GLE450 AMG® boasts 362 horsepower from its 3.0L biturbo V6 engine. Transmission is 9-speed automatic with shift paddles, and the performance-oriented 4MATIC® all-wheel drive means complete driver control whatever the road conditions. The Dynamic Select Control gives the driver the option of four different select drive modes. Acceleration is very quick, with the vehicle going from zero to 50 mph in just 5.6 seconds. The uplevel GLE63 S comes with a powerful 5.5L biturbo V8 that produces a whopping 577 horsepower. Transmission is 7-speed automatic, and the electro-hydraulically variable front and rear stabilizer bars change their roll stiffness when uneven terrain is encountered.

 Interior

Standard features on both coupe models include heated front seats, dual-zone automatic climate control, driver seat memory, and auto-dimming rearview mirror. The AMG® GLE63 S comes with 14-way power sport front seats, 115-volt power outlets, top-stitched Nappa dashboard trim, and infrared remote window opening. The premium leather upholstery is of the finest quality available, and the optional multi-contour front seats with massage control have to be experienced to be believed.

 Features

One of the latest innovations included on the GLE450 AMG® coupe model is the COMAND® system. The central controller is teamed to a one-touch pad that controls nearly all of the entertainment and communications functions. On top of the central dash sits a beautifully designed 8-inch screen that features animated vehicle settings as well as driver information and alerts. The AMG® GLE63 S is similarly equipped and also comes with hands-free Bluetooth®, a premium harman/kardon®*** sound system, and voice control with learning features.

 Safety

A total of 11 airbags on the GLE450 AMG® model provide complete protection for driver and passengers. The advanced COLLISION PREVENTION ASSIST PLUS is found on both model versions. This radar-based technology automatically alerts the driver to impending collisions and applies the brakes if necessary. Other standard safety equipment includes a rearview camera, rain-sensing wipers, 4-wheel electronic traction control, and night security illumination. You'll also appreciate the crosswind assist, NECK PRO® front head restraints, and the PRESAFE PLUS® system. The latter uses sensors to warn of a rear collision and automatically adjusts the restraint systems of the front passenger and driver.
